Over the past three years, producer Gustavo Calderon, with the help of the Terra Verde coffee association in Huila, has transformed his farm to be 100% certified organic.  Gustavo exclusively cultivates the Pacamara variety, a hybrid of Pacas and Maragogype, known for its high productivity and suitability for organic cultivation without chemicals. Following the switch to organic farming, Gustavo planted a garden with fruits, vegetables and herbs for his family's consumption, repurposing the coffee cherry husks as a natural fertilizer.

Terra Verde Organic is a fruit-forward coffee with notes of tropical pineapple, sweet candied orange, and tart raspberry, making it a complex yet approachable single-estate coffee.
